Our church is part of the worldwide church and our link with the Church Mission Society (CMS) helps to make this real.

CMS is an international mission agency, founded in 1799, and now working with people and projects in evangelism, healthcare, development, training and education, sharing God’s love by word and action in 60 countries including ours.

CMS enables individuals and parish groups to experience mission in other cultures.

CMS also links parishes with mission partners. We at St. Mary’s are linked to Eric and Sandra Read and their children Peter and Atiyyah, by letters, prayers and their visits to our parish. They are working in Africa in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
