Every Wednesday at 10.30am – during school term time – there is a ‘Church Tots Group’ held at the Church Hall. This group is very well attended, with new people continuing to join, and tots ages ranging from a few weeks to 3 years. The group is led by Joan with craft by Jessie.
A typical Wednesday tots group begins with Christian songs / hymns (words provided) with instruments for the children to ‘get noisy in worship’, followed by prayers for mums, children, family, etc. And a short story or poem. Then children’s Christian songs (mostly with actions) are sung, leading into a time for the tots to enjoy some fruit (raisins, grapes, bananas) while mums / dads / grans / carers enjoy a cup of tea / coffee / juice and a biscuit.
Finally, there is a craft activity to take part in, and there are toys available for various ages.
